Ambassador of India to the Russian Federation(Retd.), Chairman
Since 2017, he has served as an Independent Director of ONGC Videsh Limited and was elected to the Advisory Committee of the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva. Since April 2014, he has held the position of Distinguished Fellow & Senior Adviser (Climate Change) at The Energy and Resources Institute in New Delhi. Additionally, he is a member of the Editorial Board of the World Economy and International Relations Journal at the Institute of World Economy and International Relations in Moscow. Since 2015, he has chaired the Managing Committee of the NAB India Centre for Blind Women & Disability Studies. In his role, he plays a vital part in policy-making, policy review, ensuring legal compliance, and maintaining transparency and credibility within the organization.

The existence of the Centre comes into being with the determination of Ms Shalini Khanna. The overall running of the organization, Organisational development and envisioning of new programmes for the upliftment of blind women, effective execution and implementation of the trust decisions and programmes.
